The all-new Mercedes-Benz GLC can be ordered in Germany and will go to India.

The new Mercedes-Benz GLC will be unveiled on June 1, 2022, and you can now order it in Germany through the brand’s website and dealer partners. Prices start at 57,631 euros (approximately Rs 46,38,782). The company is first putting three trims on the market: the GLC 200 4Matic, the GLC 300 4Matic, and the GLC 220d 4Matic. What’s different about the outside?

The GLC’s second-generation update has made many significant changes, like giving. It a classy and cutting-edge look and making the inside more comfortable and full of tech. The new GLC is 4mm shorter and 60mm longer than the old one. It has a wider track, 6mm at the front and 23mm at the back. Also, it is 4,716mm long, 2,075mm wide, and 1,640mm tall, and its wheelbase is an extra 15mm, making it 2,888mm tall.

Some of the best things about the new GLC’s design are its sharper headlights, eyebrow-style daytime driving lights, more comprehensive and more angular grille, door-mounted outside view mirrors, triangular-shaped rear lights, and its new alloy wheels.

What’s inside that’s new?

This new generation of GLC is based on the flagship S-Class. It has a new MBUX setup with two separate screens. There is a 12.3-inch widescreen display for the driver and an 11.9-inch touchscreen in the middle. That set up in portrait mode and a fingerprint scanner and a few buttons. Mercedes-Benz also gave it new seats, a new steering wheel, air-conditioning vents that look like those on the C-Class, ambient lighting that can change colors, a panoramic sunroof, and so on.

Like the new S-Class and C-Class, the GLC has replaced the classic MBUX trackpad. A few buttons with a wireless charging pad and cubby holders. Not only that, but the GLC also has a transparent bonnet and other new features.

The new ones powered by electricity.

After going into its second generation, the GLC now has electrification and comes with all-hybrid powertrains. For example, the GLC 200, GLC 300, and GLC 220d all have mild-hybrid features. On the other hand, plug-in hybrid models like the GLC 300e, GLC 400e, and GLC 300de can travel up to 100 km on electric power alone. It can go as fast as 140 km/h. The 4Matic all-wheel-drive system comes standard on every trim level.
