Redmi K40 Pro with Snapdragon 888 SoC and the Redmi K40 with Snapdragon 870 SoC have been leaked.

Screenshots have shown that the Snapdragon 888 SoC will power the Redmi K40 Pro and the Snapdragon 870 SoC will power the Redmi K40. The Redmi K40 series has been in the news for a while, and the company has confirmed that the phones will be released on February 25. Also, the Redmi K40 and Redmi K40 Pro have reportedly been seen on TENAA’s website with camera modules that look like the Mi 11. Follow Stoptechy for more news.

Redmi K40 Pro specifications (expected)

On the Chinese microblogging site Weibo, someone posted what they said were screenshots of the “About Phone” page for both the Redmi K40 Pro and the Redmi K40, which showed some of the specs. The Redmi K40 Pro is said to be run by the Snapdragon 888 SoC. It have a version with 12GB RAM and 256GB of storage. It has a 6.81-inch screen with a resolution of 1,4403,200 pixels and a 5,000mAh battery.

The Redmi K40 Pro may have a quad rear camera setup with a 108-megapixel primary sensor, a 13-megapixel secondary sensor. A 5-megapixel tertiary sensor, and a 2-megapixel quaternary sensor. On the front of the phone, there might be a 30-megapixel camera for taking selfies.

In terms of the cameras, a supposed TENAA listing for a phone that is thought to be the K40 Pro shows pictures of the front and back. The back camera module looks like it’s the same as the one on the Mi 11, but it’s a bit longer. Inside the module that also holds the flash, you can see two big sensors and two small sensors. In the pictures, you can see that the phone also comes in blue.

Redmi K40 specifications (expected)

The About Phone page suggests that the Redmi K40 may be powered by the Snapdragon 870 SoC. Which is a slightly tweaked version of the Snapdragon 865+. This phone comes with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage space. It has a 6.81-inch screen and a 4,500mAh battery, just like the other one. The Redmi K40 seems to replace the 13-megapixel camera rumoured to be in the version with an 8-megapixel sensor. But everything else seems to stay the same.

On the front, it seems to have a hole-punch cutout in the middle. Redmi General Manager Lu Weibing has said before that this hole-punch cutout will be the “world’s smallest.” The listing shows the phone in a grey colour.
