POCO is working on a new line of smartphones called POCO M5. The POCO M5 series, which includes the POCO M5 and the POCO M5s, has been showing up on several certification authority websites recently. The vanilla New phone POCO M5 now been spotted on the Indian BIS certification website. Which suggests that the device (or the whole series) is likely to make its way to India pretty soon. Even though the BIS listing doesn’t guarantee a launch. It mean that the way is somewhat clear for the device to be released in India. So we can expect POCO to release the new phone POCO M5 there soon.

From what said before, the POCO M5 will be a 4G device. Most likely, the device will have NFC built in. In terms of software, the POCO M5 should come with MIUI 13, which is based on Android 12. Under the hood, the POCO M5 will likely have a MediaTek 4G processor. Up to 6GB of RAM, and up to 128GB of internal storage.
The POCO M5 is likely to have a 50MP triple camera setup on the back and an 8MP front-facing camera. The POCO M5 could have a 5,000mAh battery and a USB Type-C charging port that supports 33W fast charging.
