On June 9, the couple who have dating for a few years and who initially worked together in Shivan’s 2015. Film Naanum Rowdy Dhaan as cast members tied the wedding at a resort in Mahabalipuram. Shivan directed the film.
Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan get married
The director posted on social media in the days leading up to the event, saying he thrilled and looked forward to moving on to the next phase of his life.
Close friends, family members, and several famous people from the film industry were present at the occasion. Among those in attendance were stars Rajinikanth and Shah Rukh Khan, Karthi; directors Mani Ratnam and Atlee; and producer Boney Kapoor.
Earlier this year, Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan worked together on the comedy-drama Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal. Which also featured Vijay Sethupathi and Samantha. This was their most recent collaboration on the job front. Nayanthara’s next film, O2, is set to hit theatres the following week. It has rumoured that she will also have a role in the Atlee and Shah Rukh Khan thriller, Jawan.
Earlier, Vignesh Shivan announced that the pair would meet with their supporters and media members on June 11.
