Maruti Suzuki S-Presso 2022 has made changes, about three years after the first one came out. Since it came out in 2019, Maruti’s S-Presso, which is more of a small SUV than a traditional hatchback, has sold over two lakh units. Things have changed since then, and soon the Citroen C3 will be a whole new competitor. Now, I know that the C3 is bigger and much faster when it’s turbocharged. What about the outside has changed?
The model for 2022 is the same as the first one. Both the high stance and the boxy shape are still there. The flat bumper with many horizontal cuts gives the front end some muscle, but the headlights look simple and the “SUV-inspired” grille just looks weird. Overall, the S-Presso doesn’t stand out as much as its rivals. We think that Maruti should have given it more upscale styling features for this update.
What inside has changed?
Again, there are no changes to the way this looks to show. Maruti has kept the instruments in the middle of the dashboard and has kept the dashboard and door pads black. The roof and pillars, on the other hand, are a lighter shade of grey, which is always good for setting the mood. In terms of space, the S-Presso can only fit four people because it is so narrow. However, there is more than enough headroom and even good knee room. Even though it’s not very big (it’s less than 3.6 metres long), the trunk is still pretty big.
What’s new on the list of things it does?
Here are the first signs that the 2022 S-Presso has been updated. For starters, Maruti has given the Vxi+ and Vxi+(O) versions electrically adjustable ORVMs. A new air filter makes the air in the cabin cleaner. ESP and hill hold assist come as standard on all AMT models. In the higher-end models, there are also features like a touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, remote keyless entry, front power windows.
An engine that starts and stops while the car is idling, and a digital instrument cluster. When it comes to safety, the 2022 S-Presso has two airbags. ABS with Electronic Brake Distribution (EBD), rear parking sensors, and an automatic door lock. The top-of-the-line Vxi+(O) has a lot of nice features. We would have liked it even more if it had a back-up camera, power windows in the back, and alloy wheels.
