German sports car marque The new Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT has been released in India. It costs Rs 2.57 crore, out of the showroom. This top-of-the-line version comes in a Coupé body style. It’s the fastest and most powerful Cayenne ever made. Still, it has to compete with cars like the Lamborghini Urus and the Audi RSQ8. Check stoptechy for more news.
Porsche has made small changes to the Cayenne Turbo GT SUV to stand out from the other Cayenne models. For example, it has a new front bumper with larger air vents. A new rear bumper with a diffuser, fresh, bright paint on the alloy wheels. Two exhaust pipes in the middle. On top of the adaptive spoiler, Porsche added a roof-mounted spoiler with carbon-fiber plates. It also has Porsche’s dynamic light system plus matrix LED headlamps.
Alcantara and leather cover the whole cockpit of the Cayenne Turbo GT. It also has powered front sports seats, temperature control for four zones, an Alcantara-wrapped steering wheel with a Racing Yellow 12 o’clock marker. A 12-inch central information hub, and a 10-speaker sound system.
The Cayenne Turbo GT has a modified 3,996cc V8 gasoline engine with twin turbochargers and an eight-speed automatic transmission. It makes 632bhp and 850Nm of power. On the other hand, the SUV can go from 0 to 100 km/h in an amazing 3.3 seconds, from 0 to 160 km/h in 7.7 seconds, and from 0 to 200 km/h in just 12.2 seconds. It can go up to 300kmph.
Porsche has changed the Cayenne’s electronically controlled chassis system, made the three-chamber suspension 15% stiffer, re-calibrated the dampers, tuned up the steering wheel, changed the rear anti-roll bar, lowered the suspension by a lot, and changed the rear-axle steering system to make it more agile and improve its performance. Aside from this, it has carbon ceramic brakes and yellow brake calipers with 440mm and 410mm discs at the front and back, respectively.
It also comes with a feather-light titanium dual-pipe sport exhaust system, bespoke P Zero performance tires designed by Pirelli, and Satin Neodyme-painted 22-inch wheels. This rival to the Lamborghini Urus did a record-breaking lap of the Nürburgring in 7:38:9 minutes to become the fastest SUV.
