In England, prosecutors have permitted actor Kevin Spacey is accused to be charged with multiple counts of assault.
The head of the Crown Prosecution Service’s Special Crime Division. Rosemary Ainslie, said that the service has permitted to charge the actor with four counts of assault against three men. The CPS is also allowed to charge him with “causing a person to engage in activity without their consent.”
After an investigation by the Metropolitan police, Spacey can now be charged.
The alleged crimes occurred in London and Gloucestershire in 2005, 2008, and 2013.
Spacey’s people haven’t responded to a request for comment.
In 2017, actor Anthony Rapp said that Spacey had abused him at a party in 1986. When Rapp was 14 and Spacey was 26. Rapp is suing Spacey in federal court right now.
In 2016, Spacey was accused of assaulting an 18-year-old man. But the alleged victim refused to testify, so the charges were dropped.
In 2019, a masseur who didn’t want to be named sued Spacey for allegedly hurting him while giving him a massage. Later that same year, the alleged victim died, and the actor made a deal with the accuser’s family.
Spacey is a great actor who has won an Oscar. He was the main character in the Netflix hit House of Cards until he was written out of the show after allegations of assault. He would be in the Ridley Scott thriller All the Money in the World, but Christopher Plummer took his place at the last minute.
