The Player Springfield’s Lucky Horseshoes, Lucas Otto die in a car crash.
Lucas Otto died from his injuries on Wednesday night, which was a sad thing. Lucas Otto, 20, a reliever, pronounced dead at the scene after his car hit another car. Allmon said that the investigation showed that Otto died from blunt force trauma. The car driver travelling in the opposite direction seriously injured and taken to a nearby hospital.
“Lucas loved as a son, as a friend, and as a teammate. They known for having a good heart and enjoying being with his teammates and on baseball fields. “His death is a huge loss for the Lucky Horseshoes and the whole city of Springfield,” says co-owner Jamie Toole.
The state police and the coroner’s office are looking into what happened.
