Rhaenyra will be played by two different actors and appear in two different iterations on the show. Milly Alcock will play the younger form of Princess Rhaenyra. While Emma D’Arcy will play the senior version of the same character.

Alcock, Milly

Milly Alcock, an Australian actress born on April 11, 2000, made her television debut in 2014 with a small cameo in “Wonderland.” She did, however, appear in ads for firms such as NBN, Cadbury, KFC, and Woolworths. So yet, the budding star has only appeared in one feature film and has mostly been seen in TV shows. She received multiple acting nominations for her roles in the television series. “A Place to Call Home,” “Fighting Season,” “The Gloaming,” and “Reckoning.” She rose to prominence in Australia after appearing in the 2019 television series “Upright,” for which she received the Casting Guild of Australia Award.

“House of the Dragon” will be Alcock’s debut acting role in an American television series.

D’Arcy, Emma

Before making her cinema or television debut, the talented British actress began her her career in a number of theatre productions. D’Arcy made her television debut in 2018 when she joined Toni Collette in the main cast of Netflix’s “Wanderlust.” 2020 was a pivotal year for the actress, as she played pivotal roles in the high-profile TV projects “Hanna” and “Truth Seekers,” as well as the feature film “Misbehavior.”
