Jon Prosser says that you will be able to pre-order the Google Pixel 7 and Google Pixel 7 Pro on October 6. This makes it likely that they will be announced on the same day. The set will be in stores starting on October 13. India’s availability hasn’t been talked about yet.

Google Pixel 7, Google Pixel 7 Pro launch date

The Google Pixel 7 and Google Pixel 7 Pro will be the company’s next top-of-the-line phones. They were first announced at the I/O 2022 event in May. These will be announced on October 6 and will be available for pre-order on the same day. On October 13, the phones will go on sale. This information comes from well-known leaker Jon Prosser, and based on what he said about the Pixel 6 dates last year, these dates might be true.

Pixel 7 series specifications

The second-generation Tensor chipset will power the Google Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro. More information about the hardware will be shared at the October launch event. The phones will have up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage, which may not be expandable. They will probably come with Android 13 OS already installed. The phone’s screen is brighter than last year’s Pixel 6 series, and the Pixel 7 Pro could have a QHD+ 120Hz panel. The front of the Google Pixel 7 looks the same as the Google Pixel 6. But the back camera module has changed a little.

Regarding optics, information about the Pixel 7 camera has been leaked online. It is said that the primary sensor will be the Samsung GN1 sensor. Which will work with the Sony IMX381 ultra-wide-angle camera. On the front of both Pixel 7 phones will be an 11MP Samsung 3J1 sensor for dual Pixel selfies. This is said to improve the overall quality and allow semi-secure face authentication. Both likely have a fingerprint sensor built into the screen for security and the ability to connect to a 5G network.
