Elon Musk says the rumours that he had an affair with Sergey Brin the wife of a Google co-founder are “total bullshit.”

Elon Musk is said to have had a short affair with Nicole Shanahan, the wife of Sergey Brin, the co-founder of Google. This is what ended Musk’s long-term friendship with Brin. This year, the Google co-founder filed for divorce because of the affair.

Elon Musk has said that he and Nicole Shanahan did not have an affair. The CEO of Tesla said the story was “total BS” in response to an exclusive report from The Wall Street Journal (WSJ).

Musk responded to a Twitter user who shared a WSJ article with the caption, “Musk is said to have hit Google co-founder Sergey Brin’s wife, which led to the couple filing for divorce, and the two are apparently no longer friends.” Follow Stoptechy

“This is nonsense. Sergey and I are friends, and last night we went to a party together.” Sunday night, Musk wrote a response on Twitter. “In three years, I’ve only seen Nicole twice, and both times there were a lot of other people around. There’s no romance.”

TECH BILLIONAIRES’ FRIENDSHIP RUPTURED

According to The Wall Street Journal, Brin told his financial advisers to sell all of his shares in Musk’s companies as tensions between the two billionaires grew (WSJ).

Before the affair, Musk and Brin were close friends. After Brin found out that Nicole had an affair with Musk, he and Musk’s relationship started to go downhill.

The co-founder of Google filed Sergey Brin for divorce in January, saying that he and Shanahan had “irreconcilable differences” and had been living apart since December 15, 2021. In 2018, they tied the knot.

MUSK’S AFFAIR WITH NICOLE SHANAHAN

The affair between Musk and Shanahan happened at Art Basel in Miami in December, and at another event, Musk asked Brin for forgiveness, according to the Journal.

Brin and Shanahan are currently talking about a settlement. Even though they have a prenuptial agreement, Shanahan wants more than $1 billion.

The affair is the latest personal secret to come out about Musk. Earlier this year, it was said that a senior executive at his artificial intelligence company, Neuralink, gave birth to twins.

The Bloomberg Billionaires Index says that Musk is the richest person in the world with a $242 billion fortune. With a net worth of $94.6 billion, Brin is the eighth richest person in the world.
