The Zenfone 8, which is one of the smallest Android phones, is supposedly getting a follow-up from Asus. Even though the company hasn’t said anything official about what will come after the Zenfone 8. A product video of what is thought to be the Asus Zenfone 9 has been posted online. Follow Stoptechy
The report says that the company accidentally put up the product video for the Zenfone 9, which has not released. The company soon took down the video. But the TechGoin website was able to get a copy of the video. Which shows in detail how the phone looks and what its most important features are.
According to the video, the phone will keep its small size and have a 5.9-inch Samsung AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. A cutout on the left side for the selfie camera.
The video also shows that the phone will available in four colors: red, black, beige, and a shade of blue. On the back of the phone, there are two separate camera lenses that are about the same size.
The video also shows that the back has two cameras. One with a 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor and the other with a secondary sensor. The addition of 6-axis Gimbal image stabilization is the best thing about it.
Other than that, the phone is likely to have Qualcomm’s top-of-the-line Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset and a 4300mAh battery.
The Asus Zenfone 9 is also expected to have a fingerprint scanner on the side. That can also be used as an extra button that the company calls ZenTouch. According to the video, users will be able to scroll up and down pages or feeds.
The video also confirmed that the phone will have an IP68 rating. Which means it will be resistant to water and dust. In the video, the company also showed off some accessories. like a smart backpack mount with a place to attach a smartphone and a case with a built-in kickstand.
As we’ve already said, the company hasn’t officially said anything about the Zenfone 9. We expect more leaks in the next few weeks or until Asus makes an official announcement about the phone.
