Airtel offering 5G services in India this month.

One of India’s biggest phone companies, Bharti Airtel, is getting ready to offer 5G services this month. By 2024, the company wants to cover all towns and cities and rural areas in the country. In the 5G auction that just ended, Bharti Airtel won bids for a range of frequencies and radio waves in the low and mid-band spectrum, which were worth Rs. 43,040 crore. The CEO of Bharti Airtel Gopal Vittal said that the company planned to start with 5,000 towns to support the already established system. By 2024, the company is likely to have expanded its network to every city and key rural areas. This would be one of the biggest network expansions in the company’s history.
